FIA: Aerospace Innovation Meets the National Stage

Working at the Farnborough International Airshow with Reaction Engines was one of those career moments that genuinely felt surreal — the kind of project where aerospace, politics, innovation, and high-stakes storytelling all collide in real time.

As part of Reaction Engines’ presence at one of the world’s most prestigious aerospace events, I led the marketing delivery around a major headline moment: a high-profile meeting between our CEO and Keir Starmer, coordinated directly with the Prime Minister’s team.

This wasn’t just a photo opportunity — it was a strategic moment for UK engineering, sustainability, and the future of advanced propulsion technology.

A Campaign Built at Speed (and at Altitude)

Alongside the live event, I created a full digital campaign designed to amplify the impact of the visit across industry, government, and media audiences.

From messaging and creative content to real-time social storytelling, I developed coordinated digital assets that captured the energy of Farnborough while positioning Reaction Engines at the centre of the conversation around the UK’s innovation future.

Behind the Scenes of a National-Level Moment

Working closely with senior stakeholders — including government communications teams — meant every detail mattered. The campaign required precision, pace, and the ability to deliver high-quality marketing under intense visibility and time pressure.

The result was an exciting, high-impact communications moment that showcased Reaction Engines not only as a leader in aerospace technology, but as a key player in the UK’s future industrial strategy.

Farnborough wasn’t just an airshow — it was a front-row seat to the future.
